A celebration of life for Bonnie Ginn Cain of Anniston age 73, will be Saturday January 7, 2023 at 1pm at New Haven Baptist Church in Coldwater with Brother Larry Riddle officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 11am – 1pm.
Ms. Cain passed away on December 31, 2022 surrounded by her family.
She is proceeded in death by her husband, Jimmy Cain, her parents, Henry B and Rosa Lee Ginn, a sister, Dana Smith and two brothers, Danny Ginn and Keith Ginn.
She leaves behind 3 daughters, Lisa Parker (Bob) of Biloxi, MS, Tandy Cain of Anniston, AL, and Shannon Woodard of Oxford, AL; grandchildren, Brock Pledger (Kelly) of Verdi, NV, Brandon Pledger (Erika) of Saint Johns, FL, Blake Woodard of Oxford, AL, Nathan Cain (April) of Anniston, Ashton Preston (Ashley) of Saucier, MS, Chelsey Gallo (Chris) of Boston, MA, Hunter Cain of Oxford, Al, and Brett Parker (Andrea) of Gulfport, MS; 14 great-grandchildren, a sister, Laura Harbin of Anniston, Al and several nieces and nephews.
Her greatest joys were her children and grandchildren. If you knew her, you know that she was one of a kind. She was such an amazing example of what a Christian is and should be, never had a bad thing to say about anyone, loved unconditionally and was the most selfless person in the world.
She began her insurance career with State Farm Insurance. After 12 years she joined Liberty National Life Insurance, retiring after 17 years. After retiring, she joined Woodmen of the World for 2 years. She was a career long member of NAAIFA, served on the Board of Directors and served 1 year as President. She was a regular participant in the Association Community Services projects. In 2003, she was the recipient of the C.R. Wood Memorial Award. Prior to Covid, she was an active member of The Bridge Club of Anniston and a member of New Haven Baptist Church in Coldwater.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff on the 9th floor at Grandview Medical Center, Dr. Matthew Tucker (Grandview Oncology), St. Martin’s in the Pines Hospice Care staff, Compassus Hospice (Erin, Perry and James), thank you all for the care that you gave our mother during this difficult time.
