Bobby McElhaney, age 86 of Eagleville, TN. passed away June 15, 2023. Bobby was born May 18, 1937 in Rockvale, TN to the late Jesse Thomas and Sadie Lee Haynes McElhaney. Bobby was veteran of the US Army. He owned and operated McElhaney Wrecker Service, McElhaney Automotive and the Pool Room in Eagleville and worked as a mechanic for AVCO Industries for many years.
Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Jean Woodside McElhaney; sister, Mary Ann (William) Underwood; nieces and nephews, Amy Jones, Dana Wilder and Craig McElhaney. He is preceded in death by his, brother, Jesse Lee and twin brother, Billy McElhaney.
Visitation with the McElhaney family will be held 11-1:00PM Tuesday with the funeral service at 1:00PM Tuesday June 20, 2023 at Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Pressgrove Cemetery. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include, Thomas Maupin, John Ralston, Tom and Lisa Burns, Jimmy Lamb, John Smotherman, Carey Carline, Helen and Doris Logue, Corey Wheeler, Mel Harders and Bobby’s loving nieces and nephews.
