Bobby Leon White, age 84, of Florence, passed away Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014. Visitation will be today from 10 a.m. until noon at Spry Williams Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at noon in the funeral home chapel with
Brother Greg Shockley officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Mr. White was a member of Grace Crossroads Church. He retired from Reynolds Metals Company in 1991 after 28 years of service as a crane operator and was a member of IBEW Local 558. He was an avid gardener and woodworker, loved playing the piano and loved life.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Lois Jenkins White; daughters, Cheri Cooke, Susan McDonald, and Beverly White; grandchildren, Chris Talley, Chastity McFadden, Jeremy McDonald, Natasha Maxwell, Jordan Carlyle, Tammie Gargis, and Daniel McDonald; and 16 great-grandchildren; and several half brothers and sisters.
