Bobby Gene Adams, 70, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2015 at his home. He was a native of Rutherford Co. and has lived in Cannon Co. since 1991.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Glenda Carter Adams of Readyville; Children, Clinton (Sheila) Carter Adams & Clayton (Tequilla) Thomas Adams both of Murfreesboro, Carrie (Dennis) Faye Foster of Beech Grove, Samuel (Heather) Gallegos Adams, & Cory (Sheena) Gene Adams both of Woodbury; Siblings, Christine (Mike) Adams Scheide & Dexter (Miranda) Adams both of Murfreesboro, & Thomas (Brenda) Adams of Christiana; 11 Grandchildren, Amanda Carlton, Austin Carlton, Quinton Adams, Dawson Carlton, Natalie Foster, McKenzie Adams, Logan Adams, Cole Adams, Christan Gallegos, Julie Gallegos, & Seth Bentley Adams; 1 Great granddaughter, Anastin Young.
Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dexter & Mamie Louise Harrell Adams; Siblings, Jerry Lee Adams & Danny Ray Adams; Grandson, Dalton Gene Adams.
Mr. Adams was a member of the Baptist/Messianic faith and was a retired electrician from IBEW. He was an avid coon hunter, enjoyed camping, & tinkering on his farm. He loved the Lord and loved his family.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Sun., Jan 25, 2015 at Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bros. Jim Dotson & Eunice Gaylord officiating. Interment will follow at Thyatira Cemetery.
