Bobby Franklin Edmonds age 93 of Greenbrier, TN passed away Friday, September 4, 2026 in Hendersonville, TN. The family will receive friends 10am until 12pm on Friday, September 11, 2026 at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Greenbrier. Funeral services will be held at 12 PM on Friday, September 11, 2026 at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Greenbrier, TN with Rev. Chad Phelan officiating. Pallbearers will be Jeff Wilson, Jim Perko, David Cohea, John Bush, John Twist, Wayne Seymore, Harvey Majors and Gary Sutor. The Ebenezer Adult Men’s Sunday School Class will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. A private family interment will be held at a later time at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Bobby was born March 4, 1933 in Murfreesboro, TN to the late Herman D. Edmonds and Mattie Lou Williams Edmonds. He was also preceded in death of his wife of 70 years, Maie Wilson Edmonds and brothers, Aubrey Edmonds and Gene Edmonds.
He loved his church and his family very much. He was lovingly known as “Pepaw”. He also enjoyed Golf and Alabama Football. He was a Manager for AT&T Telephone Services.
He is survived by sons, David (Venice) Edmonds, Daniel (Terri) Edmonds; grandchildren, Krista (Kevin) Sykes, Joshua (Lindsay) Edmonds, Lydia (Blake Cobb; 6 great grandchildren and several beloved extended family members.
