Bobby Dean “Ted” Herston, 72, of Florence, passed away April 29, 2013, at his residence. He was a member of Petersville Church of Christ.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 2, 2013, from 5-8 p.m. at Petersville Church of Christ. The funeral service will be Friday, May 3, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the church. Officiating will be Sonny Owens and Hugh McHenry.
Mr. Herston was preceded in death by his parents, William Roy and Audrey Mae Herston.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Martha Swinea Herston; sons, Keith Herston (Emily), Steven Herston (Jamie); daughter, Melissa Gunnels (Jim);
brothers, David Herston (Jackie), Gerald Herston; grandchildren, Nathan and Randall Evans, David Gunnels, Kevin, Nolan and Abe Herston; great-grandchild, Jessalyn Evans.
Pallbearers will be Frank Grigsby, Bryan Davis, Nathan Evans, Randall Evans, David Gunnels and Kevin Herston.
