Bobby Dale Keller, age 76 of Belvidere, passed away on March 21, 2022 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems- Winchester surrounded by his family. He was born in Winchester on October 16, 1945 to the late Russell and Ruby Oree Keller. Bobby and Carolyn moved to Cowan with their two boys, they along with Bobby and Sylvia Foster took on the task of reviving the Cowan Little League, which had been closed. With much help, money donations and volunteers, it became a very active league and with the introduction of T-Ball to the county, it began to thrive again. Bobby loved young people and sports and coached everything from T-Ball, Little League, Babe Ruth and 13-year-old teams. Along with youth programs, he also coached and played church and industrial league softball. One of his favorite past times was playing golf with his friends and volunteering as a Marshall at Tims Ford Park, where he met and interacted with many famous personalities. He never met a stranger and would know your whole history before he parted company. Bobby leaves behind his wife of fifty-four years, Carolyn Payne Keller, whom he introduced to most people as being a (pain or Payne) all her life; his greatest accomplishments were his sons, Michael (Mindi) of Birmingham and Mark (Monti) of Winston Salem, NC, they were his pride and joy only to be superseded by his grandchildren, Caroline Anne, Molly Montgomery and Mason Michael Keller and Mitchell Granville Keller; sisters, Faye (Carlos) Prince of Lynchburg and twin sister Brenda (Bob) Worthington of Winchester; and several loving nieces and nephews.
