TENNESSEE VALLEY-According to the National Weather Service the weather could be the first really winter weather of the season. An arctic cold front will bring frigid conditions across the forecast area late Saturday and into early Sunday. Wind chill values will fall into the -5 to 2 degree range. High temps on Sunday will struggle to reach above freezing.
A low pressure system will develop over the western Gulf of Mexico and move eastward from Monday through Tuesday. This system, combined with below freezing temperatures, could bring accumulating snowfall to the forecast area beginning early Monday.
