Funeral services for Mr. Billy R. Arnold, age 80, are scheduled for 2 PM, Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Blue Goose Pentecostal Church with Bro. Dwayne Sparks and Rev. Mike Tuttle officiating. Interment will follow in Independence Cemetery. Pafford Funeral Home of Lexington is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Arnold passed away early Tuesday at his home in the Blue Goose Community. He was born June 25, 1933 in McKenzie to the late Comer and Artie Mae Reader Arnold. He was a U. S. Army Veteran, retired building maintenance employee, and a member of The Pentecostals of Hohenwald. He loved traveling and motor homes. He was preceded in death by one son, Jimmy Dale Inman, one brother, Bobby Thomas Arnold, and one sister, Mary Jane Arnold Smith. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Mrs. Louise Gurley Arnold; his son, Joe (Charlotte) Inman; three daughters, Joyce Sparks, Jeanette (Loyd) Anderson, and Jane (Jimmy) Davis; eleven grandchildren; and several great and great-great grandchildren.
