James “Mac” MacArthur Singleton – Obituary

MacFuneral services for Mr. , age 71, are scheduled for Friday, November 1, 2013 at 2 PM at Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pafford Funeral Home of Lexington is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Singleton passed away late Monday in Jackson. He was born May 20, 1942 in Henderson County to the late James Nelson and Allie Mae McBride Singleton. He was a retired from the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers and was a Deacon at Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by one sister, Delphia Barker. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Doris Paulette Singleton of Reagan; three sons, Tim (Cindy) Singleton of Saltillo, Mike Singleton of Decaturville, and Chris (Amy) Singleton of Jackson; one daughter, Raquel (Jeff) Reeves of Lexington; three sisters, Navelene (Harvey) Middleton, Larue (the late Jodie) Boldan, and Zeola (the late Alfred) Boldan; seven grandchildren, Seth, Cody, Breanna, Colby, Caitlin, Luke, and Emma; and one great grandson, Branson.
