Billy Joe Vinson, age 78 of Littleville died Monday, September 26, 2016. His family will receive friends Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be Thursday, 2 p.m. at Freedom Baptist Church with Larry Crump and Marley Willbanks officiating.
His body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. to lie in State. Burial will follow in Hyde Cemetery.
Billy was a minister and a member of Freedom Hills Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Myra Mae Price, mother Ruthie, father Arcellus Vinson, and brothers, Ed and Bobby.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Keenum Vinson, sons; Billy Vinson (Faye), Darren Vinson (Chasity), Corey Vinson (Karen), Danny Vinson, Roy Webber ( Wendy), daughters; LaDoris Crowden (Donnie), Rosie Lopez (Victor), Gloria Barnett, Rose Keenum, brother; Emitt Vinson, sisters; Jewel Wilbanks (Marley), Brenda Barfield (Jerry), Barbra Cochran (Terry); twenty-four grandchildren and; thirteen great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Ricky Stone, Kevin Vinson, Vince Lopez, Roy Webber, Corey Vinson Jr., Austin Vinson and TJ Vinson.
