Billy Joe Ratliff, long time Drafting and Design Instructor at Itawamba Community College and husband of Ann Arnold, died on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024 at North Miss. Medical Center in Tupelo. He was 81 years old. A Nettleton native and graduate of Nettleton High School, Bill later received his Bachelors Degree from Mississippi State University and his Master’s from the University of Mississippi. He spent many years on the faculty of Itawamba Community College as a Drafting and Design Instructor.
A Memorial Service celebrating his life will be held at 2 PM Friday, Dec. 6, 2024 from the Sadie Holland Memorial Chapel at Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo. Rev. Dr. Jesse Huggins from Parkway Baptist Church will officiate. Cory Hayes and Emily Ann Benedict will provide music. Visitation will be from Noon-service time on Friday only at Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo, which is honored to be serving their friends. For those unable to attend, the service may be viewed at hollandfuneraldirectors.com/Live-streaming at 2 PM Friday, and will be archived thereafter.
