Billy Howard Aday, 84, found himself in the precious arms of his Lord and Savior on May 3, 2025. He was born and resided in Muscle Shoals, AL for 53 years, he lived in a home that he built himself. He was a devoted Christian and a member of Nitrate City Baptist Church. Visitation will be Thursday, May 8, 2025 from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. at Nitrate City Baptist Church with a service to follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Billy adored his girls, grandbabies, and great grandbabies with his whole heart. He was an avid sports fan, particularly Bama Football and Atlanta Braves, but he enjoyed watching his grandbabies play sports and dance. Especially some of his favorite pastimes were searching for good yard sales and doing his “computer work”, aka scrolling Facebook.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Autry and Margaret Aday; brother, Kenneth Aday; mother of children, Paulette Hetrick; and granddaughter, Christina Louise.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Brackin Aday; daughters, Melissa Vinson and Trish Wright (Jeff); bonus son, Christian Hetrick (Mollie); granddaughter, Megan Petersen (Monte); grandsons, Zach Vinson (Stacy) and Caleb McIntyre (Kendall); great grandchildren, Lynnlee, Adilynn, Brycen, Jackson, Louie, baby Bennett Howard, Keeton, and Noah; siblings, Raymond, Rebecca, and Chris; several nieces and nephews, cherished friends and church family.
