Billy Haskel Bright, 70 of Joppa Alabama the Hulaco Community, died Monday October 17, 2016 at his residence.
Mr. Bright was born January 16, 1946 in Marshall County Alabama to Verbon Bright and Ioma Marion Bright. He served in the U.S. Army and worked as a heavy equipment operator for Drummond Coal Mine until his retirement. He loved his dogs and classic muscle cars.
He was a member of New Friendship Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years: Sherry Winn Bright; a son: Matt Bright and Christine Quinn; a daughter: Tonya Morrow; a sister and brother-in-law: Susie and Brad Linley; two grandchildren, one great grandchild and his beloved dog, Buddy. He was preceded in death by his parents Verbon and Ioma Bright and a brother Bobby Bright.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday October 21, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Brothers: Ronald Earwood and Lavon Winn officiating. Burial will be in New Friendship Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Bright, Larry Satterfield, David Mason, Brad Linley,
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday October 20, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
