Funeral services for Billy Gibson, age 73, will be held at 2 pm Friday, November 13, 2020 at the Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12 pm until service time on Friday. Appropriate social distancing protocols with masks recommended, will be observed as set forth by the CDC and the State of Tennessee.
Mr. Gibson, a maintenance employee for H. L. J. Memory Foam in Milan, TN, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Milan General Hospital.
Mr. Gibson was preceded in death by his mother, Mary D. Gibson; and his grandparents, Leron and Lee Gibson.
Mr. Gibson is survived by his wife, Sandy Gibson; six children, Johnathan Gibson (Jennifer), Chad Gibson (Jill), Candice Gibson, Mary Elizabeth Gibson, Olivia Gibson Palmer (Clay), and Billy “B. J. ” Gibson, Jr.; and six grandchildren, Seth, Reece, Nathan, Haley, Braden, and Travis.
