Billy Eugene Felks, Sr., 63, of Iuka, MS, died Thursday, April 28, 2016, at his daughter’s residence in Rienzi. Mr. Felks was a U. S. Army veteran. He was employed as a handyman for 18 years with Willie’s Painting Services, and attended Eastport Baptist Church. Billy enjoyed building things, bowling, fishing, and hunting. He also loved NASCAR and Talladega, fish frys, and listening to the Blues on Beale Street. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Saturday, April 30, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 1, at Sardis Baptist Church, officiated by Bro. Franky Smith. Interment will follow in Sardis Cemetery. Pallbearers include Wesley Smith, Willie Warner, Brandon Warner, Tom Crenshaw, Dennis Crider, Yank Davis, and Dennis Dillard. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived one son, Billy Eugene Felks, Jr. (Lindsay) of Marengo, IL; three daughters, Bridget Ann Felks of Theodosia, MO, Lequetta Felks (Steve) of Illinois, and Lauren Rachel Wilburn (Justin) of Rienzi; one brother, Harold Felks of Indiana; ten grandchildren, Alisa, Haley, Austin, Logan, Kadence, Billy, III, Tyler, Savannah, Autumn, and Destiny; and his closest friends, Wesley Smith of Iuka, and Willie Warner of Corinth. He was preceded in death by his father, David Eugene Felks; his mother, Sadie Ruth Parsons Gentry; and a brother, Jerry Don Felks.
