Memorial service for Mrs. Billie Trammell East will take place on Wednesday March 5, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Community Christian Church in Delta Alabama.
Mrs. East was a native of Clay County, AL and graduated Lineville High School. She was married in 1973 to Mr. Briton Watts East and they had three boys. She worked at Higgins Slacks for many years, then a mental health center, and finally she was a budget analyst for the Anniston Army Depot. Mrs. East was a minister and loved the Lord and helped build a church in 2006 and preached a few years before that. She was a doting mother who would take her kids wherever they needed to go to perform in their band. She would also go to horse shows and loved riding motorcycles. When she became sick her family customized a motorcycle so she could still enjoy riding.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years Brinton Watts East; three sons, Benjamin “Benny”(Mary Ellen) Kimble of Rome, GA, Bruce Kimble (Ava) of Ashland, and Brad Kimble (Alice) of Delta; grandchildren, Krystal (Gregory), Joshua, Caleb, Isaac (Cayla), Cody (Haley) and one on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents, L. J. Trammell and Dorothy “Nell” Trammell; one sister, Eugenia “Gene” Trammell Whaley; and two brothers, Lewis Trammell and Jerry Trammell.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Clay County Hospice at P.O. Box 1270 Ashland, AL 36251.
