Bill Sims passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at Huntsville Hospital. He was born May 31, 1943, in Morgan County, to Jessie Lee Sims and Anna Ruth Blankenship Sims.
He was employed at Fruehauf Company as a Fork Lift Mechanic, prior to his retirement. He loved to hunt, fish and drag race cars. He also loved and enjoyed spending time with his beagle dogs.
Preceding him in death were his wife- Gale Sims, his parents, and a daughter- Stephanie Sims.
Survivors include
Son – William Laron Sims (Renae)
Daughter – Karen Alexander
Grandchildren – Tyler Sims, Taylor Sims, Heather Allen (Ben), Randy Alexander (Kelli)
Great Grandchildren – Tailyn, Easton, Gunter, River, and Emmie Lou.
