Funeral service for Beverly Durand, 70, of Hartselle will be Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017 at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jon Allen Stanley officiating. Burial will be in Herring Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Durand died on Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017 at 130 Aycock Road (residence). She was born May 10, 1947, in Cullman County to Claude Johnson and Emma Rogers Johnson. Beverly was married to her husband, Mike Durand, for 52 years. She was the office manager and part owner of Mike’s Brake and Alignment in Hartselle. She attended Forrest Hill Baptist Church in Somerville. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Dennis and James “J.R.” Johnson and sister, Ina J Beck.
Survivors include her husband, Mike Durand; two sons, Russell Durand (Julie) and Jon Durand; one brother, Hal Johnson; one sister, Shirley Frost; and five grandchildren, Briley Durand, Alec Durand, Dillon Durand, Lauren Brock (Seth) and Dillon Langford.
Pallbearers will be William Partlow, Rodney Johnson, Steven Johnson, Eric Johnson, Danny Johnson, Weston Shelton and Scotty Watkins.
