Beulah Mae Tucker Wesson – Obituary

Beulah Mae Tucker Wesson, 90, of Muscle Shoals, passed away on March 31, 2018 at her residence. She was a lifetime member of First Free Will Baptist Church in Florence.  She was baptized in 1943 in Sweet Water Creek. Her life verse was 2 Timothy 4:7, “I have fought a good fight, I have kept the faith.”  Her heart was always with the youth of the church. She taught seventh grade girls for 25 years and bible school.  She worked for 25 years at the Muscle Shoals High school in the cafeteria. She loved to cook for her family.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 04, 2018 at Greenview Funeral Home from 1-2 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Brother Mike Crews officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Verona Tucker Story; son, Phillip E. Wesson, Jr.; half-brother, Glenn Story; brothers-in-law, Jr. Wesson and  David Wesson, Sr.

Survivors include her husband, Phillip “Gene” Wesson, Sr.; son, Timothy Craig Wesson of Muscle Shoals; granddaughter, Jessica Ruth Wesson Alberti; great-grandchildren, Archie Edward Alberti and Ruby Alberti all of Marina Del Ray, California; grandson, Phillip Eugene Wesson, III, (Pam) of Hamilton, Alabama; great-grandchildren, Phillip Braeden Wesson and Karlee Michelle Wesson sisters-in-law, Rachel Story, Nola Wesson, Faye Williams, Judy Woodruff, Shirley Wesson, Peggy Cooper, Kay Wesson and Susie Wesson all of Florence and Ardena Wesson of California; brothers-in-law, John Wesson of California, Woody Woodruff, Jerry Wesson, Jim Wesson all of Florence; and several nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Buddy Lee Armstrong, James Lewis, George Landtroop, Robert Wylie, Allen Morgan and Wayne Suggs.

In lieu of flowers and food, please make donations to the First Freewill Baptist Church of Florence.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Brad MacNally and the staff at Helen Keller Hospital, Shoals Home Health, Hospice of North Alabama and Stephanie Glover for all the love and tenderness given to our loved one.
