Betty Strickland Fountain,71 of Leighton, Al went home to be with the Lord on August 23, 2014. A memorial service will be Tuesday August 26, 2014 at 6:00 P.M. at Washington Park Baptist Church. Brother Charles James will officiate.
She was preceded in death by her mother Ruth Wright, father Floyd Strickland. Sister, Ann Strickland and two son, Jamie and Michael Fountain. Grandson, Cody Fisher.
She leaves behind her wonderful husband of 54 years, Rather Fountain,
Sons, Eugene (Malia), Gilbert, Rodney, Jeffrey and Joey Fountain.
Daughters, Angela (Lamar) Charles and Rhonda (Ronnie) James.
Fifteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
