Betty Ruth Madewell “Pat” Whisenant, 89, of Meridianville passed away May 2nd 2026.
She was preceded in death by parents, Clyde and Inez Madewell; son, Ricky Whisenant, in 2019; brothers, Buddy, Doug and Wayne and sister Shirley Posey.
Betty is survived by children, Brian, Rita (husband Avery) and Scott (wife Joanna); seven grandchildren, Tommy and Anthony Lewis, Dr Leslie Leonard Williams, Cassidy Bucy, Kalee Finley and Ryan and Casey Whisenant; two great grandchildren, Demi Lewis and Charlotte Finley and brothers, Bobby Madewell (wife Vivian), Farley (wife Ocie), James (wife Becky) and Donald Madewell.
Visitation will be Monday 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will follow at 1:00 pm.
Interment will be in Neals Chapel Cemetery.
