Betty Lorene Romans, of Cherokee, passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at the age of 89. Her visitation will be Thursday, February 28 at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be Friday, February 29 in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Nelson Moffet officiating. Burial is to follow in Mountain Springs Cemetery.
Betty was a native of Mountain Springs and a member of the Mountain Springs Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Junior Romans; and her son, Jimmy Ray Romans.
She is survived by her sons, Floyd, Jack, and Danny Romans; her daughter, Betty Ruth Demastus; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
