Betty June Moore Wheeler, 79, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at her home. She was born June 2, 1945 to the late John Chester Moore and the late Ruby Lee Emmons McCreary. She retired from Daniel Health Care after many years of service. She was a member of Tilden Church of Christ. She enjoyed being with family. She was always a hard worker. Betty enjoyed talking extensively on the phone with friends and family.
Services will be 2:00 pm on Sunday January 5, 2025, at Senter Funeral Directors with Ministers David Timms and Jeff Bates officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 Sunday in the Senter Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be in Harden’s Chapel Cemetery. Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the caring for the family.
Survivors include her daughter, Dana (Derrick Armstrong) Christian of Tupelo; step-sons: Roger Timms, Ronnie (Tammy) Timms, David (Amanda) Timms; grandchildren: Josh (Haley) Christian, Anthony Christian, Seth Williams, Cassie (Brandon) Haley, Casey (Dominik) Wilson, Blade (Bonnie) Wilson, step-grandchildren: Michael, Brent, Dustin, Miranda, Meagan, Mia, Mikaela, Austin, Laken, Dathen; many great grandchildren; brother, John (Melissa) Moore, sisters: Helen Mayhall, Patricia (David) Courtney; 1half brother and 2 half sisters; host of nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents; previous husbands: Billy Cockrell, Voy “Tippy” Timms, JD Wheeler; daughter, Connie Ryan; son-in-law, Tim Ryan; 2 brothers and 1 sister, 7 Half siblings.
