Betty Jo Pruitt, age 77 went to her Heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 10, 2025 at Cordova Health and Rehabilitation Center where she was surrounded by her family.
Betty’s greatest joy came from her family. She cherished every moment spent with her family and closest friends. The love she had for the Lord and her family had no boundaries. Betty was a friend to most and a maw maw to many. We will live on through her memories and the values she instilled in all of us. So let us remember her bright smile, her giving heart, her unwavering strength and the love she shared so generously.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Williams Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Pruitt was preceded in death by her Husband-Cecil Eugene Pruitt; Parents-Floyd and Myrtle Davidson; Son-Dean Pruitt; Brothers-Floyd Davidson, Herbert Davidson, Billy Jo Davidson and Charles Ray Davidson; Sisters-Lucille Busby, Louise Ballenger and Mary Baily.
She is survived by her Sons-Cecil Pruitt (T.J.) and Henry Pruitt (Dana); Daughter-Amanda Pruitt; Grandchildren-Chay Pruitt (Annslee), Angel Pruitt, Lagina Rigsby (JoJo), Taylor Pruitt and Lakin Pruitt; Great Grandchildren-Pierson Pruitt, Elijah Pruitt, McKenna Pruitt, Alynn Kate Rigsby, Harper Rigsby, Anna Marie Pruitt, Olivia Edwards and Lainey Jo Rigsby; A host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will Chay Pruitt, JoJo Rigsby, Mark Hunter, Jim Busbin, Keith Allred, Adam Denard, Elijah Pruitt and Pierson Pruitt.
