Mrs. Betty Jo Grider Thomas, 92, passed away peacefully, Monday, November 21, 2022.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 25, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. ~ 12:00 p.m. at Rudder Funeral Home, Scottsboro, AL. Traditional Funeral service will begin at 12 noon following visitation, with Bro. Sammy Thomas officiating. Interment will be at Pinehaven Memorial Gardens, Hollywood, AL.
Mrs. Thomas is survived by her husband of 69 years, W. Talmadge “Tal” Thomas; daughters, Cathy (Michael) Mitchell, Janice (John) Walters; grandchildren, Andrew (Erika) Walters, Mary Hannah Walters (Anthony Hawkins), Sara (Chase) Bolt; great grandchildren, Asher Bolt and Logan Bolt.
She is preceded in death by, her parents, George, and Sophia Grider; brothers, Rorex Grider, Tom Grider, Mack Grider, Bud Grider, Warnie F. Grider; sisters, Audie Phillips, Mary Raulston, Kate Grider, Annie Maude Grider; grandsons, Cody Mitchell, and Aaron Michael Mitchell.
