Funeral service for Betty Faye Barber Brookover, 76, will be Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Bullard officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery. No Visitation is scheduled.
Ms. Brookover died on Friday, March 11, 2016 at her residence. She was born February 8, 1940, in Morgan County to Houston Barber and Daisy Terrel Barber. She was a loving mother and homemaker that loved to cook and take care of her chihuahua named “Tootie”. She adored her grandchildren and was loved by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son: Kevin Brookover, two brothers: Harold “Jamup” Barber and James Houston “Sonny” Barber and her parents.
