Betty Earle Slaughter Stringfellow, age 88,, Haleyville, AL. passed away Tuesday August 9, 2022. she was a member of First Baptist Church in Haleyville, AL., retired 6th grade teacher with the Haleyville City Schools.
GRAVESIDE SERVICE ONLY: Friday August 12, 2022 at 1:00PM in Winston Memorial Cemetery, with Dr. Nathan Carroll and Lamar Harris speaking.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Dr. T.B. Stringfellow, Jr.; children, Carol Stringfellow Welle (Craig), Allen Barnes Stringfellow (Lynda Leigh) and Margaret Postell (Allen); grandchildren, Mary Ellen Bedsole (Shane) and Brandon Allen Postell; great grandchildren, Parker Allen Bedsole, Carter Shane Bedsole, Kiersten Elizabeth Bedsole, Lauren Kaityn Bedsole and Caroline Rose Bedsole.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Anne Nunnely Slaughter; brother, Dr. William Gaines Slaughter.
