Betty Carolyn Holderfield, age 80, of Albertville, Alabama, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2024, at her residence.
Born on September 22, 1943, Betty was the beloved daughter of the late Ralph and Nola Corbin. Throughout her life, Betty found solace and strength in her faith, and she was a dedicated member of the High Point Missionary Baptist Church.
Betty is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Gerald Holderfield, who stood by her side through life’s journey. She also leaves behind her sons, Billy G. Holderfield, Jr., and Shane Holderfield; siblings, Gary Corbin (Faye), Jerry Corbin (Jennie), and Patricia Lewis (Steve).
A funeral service to honor Betty’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home, with Bro. Larry Camp officiating. Prior to the service, the family will receive friends starting at 10:00 am.
As Betty is laid to rest at High Point Baptist Church Cemetery, she will be escorted by pallbearers including; Brandon Corbin, Casey Corbin, Larry McDonald, Jeremy McCoy, Josh McCoy, Jim McCoy, and Donald Corbin.
Betty Carolyn Holderfield will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family, her steadfast faith, and her gentle spirit. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will forever be treasured by those who were fortunate enough to know her.
