Funeral service for Mrs. Betty Blackwood, 78, of Somerville, will be Tuesday February 17, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home with Bro. Tommy Smothers and Bro. Truman Shaddrix officiating.Visitation will Monday from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Somerville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Blackwood died Sunday February 15, 2015 her residence. She was born February 8, 1937 Somerville Alabama to Gene Shaddrix and Myrtle Turner Shaddrix. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Wess Chester Blackwood, grandson, Jantzen Frazier and a brother, John Shaddrix.
