Mrs. Betsy Vandiver Nevels, 78, of Huntsville, Al., passed away April 3, 2025 at Huntsville Hospital where she worked for 31 years.
She was loved by many. She grew up in Paint Rock Valley where she graduated from Paint Rock Valley High School. She loved Atlanta Braves baseball.
Mrs. Nevels was preceded in death by her father, James Vandiver; her mother, Rosa Vandiver; brothers, Howard Vandiver, John Vandiver, Hubert Vandiver; sister, Ruby Vandiver and Olene Williams.
She is survived by her son, Chris Nevels; grandson, Christopher Nevels; sister, Jean Elkins (Paul); and several nieces and nephews.
