Bessie Faye Compton, 76, of Huntsville, passed away Sunday. She is survived by her husband, Bobby Compton; children: Rhonda Turney (William), Rita Kirtland, Robin Mitchell (Walter), and Roger Greenhaw; brother, Raymond Williams; two sisters, Mary Frances Dempsey and Marcia Craig; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sixteen step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; and two step-children: Terri Burditt and Kevin Compton.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:00 noon – 1:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a 1:00 memorial service with Rev. Terrell Boyd officiating. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
