A Celebration of Life service for Bertha Parvin, 85 of Corinth, MS, will be Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 11:00 A M at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with interment to follow at Henry cemetery. Bro. Donnie Davis will officiate the service. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 26, 2109 from 5:00 P M to 9:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home. Mrs. Parvin passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at her residence in Corinth, MS. She was born November 21, 1933 in Pocahontas, TN to Elmer Doles and Beatrice Paterson Doles. She worked as a sewing machine operator at Garan and Mitchell Shirt Factory before her retirement. She was a member of North Corinth Baptist Church. Bertha is survived by her daughter, Wanda Primm and husband Tommy of Corinth, MS; 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; her sister, Mary Ann Hickman of Sikeston, MO, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Fred Howard Parvin; her sons, Billy E. Parvin and Jimmy Langston; her father, Elmer Doles; her mother, Beatrice Paterson Doles; her brother, Tommy Doles and her sisters, Gladys Mitton, Magaleen Bailey and Estelle Ferguson.
