Funeral service for Berta Nell Simmons, 76, will be Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ron Manley and Bro. Stanley Linderman officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 19, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Simmons died on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born December 31, 1937, in Lawrence County to Dee Ledlow and Lula Maude Hensley Ledlow. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband: Clinton Simmons, her son: David Simmons, one daughter: Elaine Adams. a great grandson: Asa and her parents.
