Mr. Bernard Dale Oppman, age 79 of Athens, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mr. Oppman was born on June 11, 1939 in Gary, Indiana to Charles Oppman and Carmen Garvis Oppman.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, David and Rick.
Mr. Oppman is survived by his wife, Sandra Oppman; sons, Bradford Oppman (Callie) and James Oppman (Melissa); step-daughters, Renee Taillon (James) and Jamie Smith; nine grandchildren; three brothers, Doug Oppman, Paul Oppman Chuck Oppman; sisters, Judy Scihapini and Pam Murrow.
Services for Mr. Oppman will be at 1:00PM on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church with Dr. Eich officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00AM-1:00PM prior to the service.
