Funeral service for Benny Leon Terry, age 86, of Decatur will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 4, 2026, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dewayne Woodall officiating. Mr. Terry, who died Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at NHC Healthcare Moulton, was born September 25, 1939, in Alabama to Cecil Terry and Inas Terry. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Billy Terry (Sheila) .
He is survived by his loving wife Clara (Gillespie) Terry; two daughters, Angela Ziobrowski, “Joe” and April Terry, Nancy Everitt; and two grandchildren, Hilton Graham and Aspen Graham Johnson, Mick.
Pallbearers will be David Terry, Scott Terry, Coy Terry, Doug Morgan, Glenn Terry, and Wayne Terry.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations be made to Hospice of the Valley (P. O. Box 7745, Decatur, AL 35602).
