Bennie Frank Letsinger, age 91, of Muscle Shoals, passed away on October 6, 2026. The visitation will be 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Friday, October 9, 2026, at Morrison Funeral Home in Tuscumbia. The funeral will be at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel with Bro. Tommy James and granddaughter, Alex Williams speaking at the service. The burial will be at Colbert Memorial Gardens.
He started his career at Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant and retired from Reynolds Metals Wise Aluminum.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Letsinger; son, Chris Letsinger (Juli); granddaughter, Alexandria Williams (Greg), and great-grandchild, Margot Williams.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Landon Letsinger; parents, Ben & Christine Letsinger; sisters, Cynthia (Rexie) Jones, and Frances Lewis.
The pallbearers will be Brian Smith, Keith Utley, Caleb Utley, and Greg Williams. The honorary pallbearers will be William Lewis, Danny James, Carl Smith, and Wayne Utley.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Lori Knight and the staff of North Alabama Hospice. Thank you to caregivers, Janice Saint and Andrea Prince as well as Brittney McDaniel with Visiting Angels.
