Ben Raymond Hinds, 61, of Florence, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2014.
He is survived by his daughter, Ellen Craig and her husband, David; granddaughter, Lucy; brother, Marty Hinds; and nephews, Wayne and David Hinds.
One of Ben’s favorite pastimes was playing cards with his beloved mother, Lorna. We find solace in knowing they are reunited once again.
In lieu of services, the body was donated to advance Alzheimer’s research through Science Care, a whole body donor program.
We are comforted in our loss knowing that countless others will be given a second chance thanks to his precious gift.
A special thanks to the nurses and staff at Fayetteville Care and Rehabilitation Center for the kindness and love they showed to “Mr. Ben” during his final days.
