Mrs. Beatrice King, age 88, of Arab, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2019 at her residence.
Mrs. King was born on July 8, 1931 to Arthur Petitt and Vinna Moses Petitt. She was married to the late Woodrow King who passed on January 26, 2009. She loved sewing, watching cooking shows and cooking for her family to come over for Sunday dinner.
She was a member of 12th Ave Church of God.
Mrs. King is survived by her daughter, Brenda King Freeman; sons, Charles R. King (Brenda), Elton L. King, Bobby Joe King; grandchildren, Ronnie Leon King, Clint Jameson King, Caroline King Kirkland (Thomas), Kerry Blake, Robin Cannone, Ross Cannone; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Bobbie Crisp; brother, Felix Petitt. Preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow King; parents, Arthur and Vinna Petitt; grandchild, Richard L. King; brothers, Brownie Petitt, Jimmy Petitt.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 29, 2019 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Pastor Todd Toles, officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Olive Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
