SHEFFIELD-Discount Dan’s Home Center in Sheffield kicked off the Summer Season with a Battle Royal…Battle of the Bands, hot dogs, popcorn drinks. some geeks and of course the Disney Princesses were there in full regalia to be photographed with some of The Shoals very own princesses.
There were three bands competing in the Battle…. Caliber, Focus 5, and Stage Coach Mafia all were vying for the four-hour recording session at Nutt House Studios and Focus 5 was the big winner and took the first prize. Although the real winners were the folks who were enjoying the sunny Memorial Day Celebration, the hot dogs and awesome music.
