Ronald “Monkey” Gene Riggs was born on May 6, 1951, in Humboldt, TN to Roy and Louanice Riggs. He departed this life on May 24, 2015, at the Humboldt Health Care & Rehab. He worked for several years as a tree cutter.
Monkey is survived by his children; Jackie Riggs, Susan, Ron Carrigan, Raven Chisim, Johnny Carrigan, Tommy Carrigan, brother; Wade Riggs, sisters; Geraldean Penetti, Brenda Truell, many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be 4 pm Wednesday from the chapel of Medina Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday afternoon from 3 until service time.
