Barry Joe Brackin, 54, Hatton, died Friday, July 12, 2013.
Visitation will be noon-2 p.m. Monday at Donald Baptist Church, Town Creek. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at Donald Baptist Church, followed by a private family graveside service. Brother Milton Burks and Brother Scott Delashaw are officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Terry Brackin, Hatton; son, Luke Brackin, Hatton; daughter, Emily Brackin Terry and Josh, South Carolina; grandson, Eli Brackin, South Carolina; father, Rayford Devon Brackin; Moulton, mother, Betty Jo Kerby Brackin, Moulton; brother, Mike Brackin and Kay, Sheffield; sister, Beverly Shelton, Moulton.
Friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be men’s Sunday school class of Donald Baptist Church.
He was a member of Donald Baptist Church and retired from International Paper.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes all donations to be made to a good samaritan account for Barry Joe Brackin at any Bank Independent location.
