Barbara Joanne Brennan, 76, of Athens, passed away on Thursday, May 8th, 2025. Miss Brennan was born on May 31st, 1948, in Stugart, Germany, to CWO Daniel and Amy Lou (McAlpin) Brennan while stationed in Germany.
Miss Brennan is survived by her sister, Patsy Brennan Wharton; niece, Chisty Wharton (David); nephews, Daniel Wharton and Thomas Wharton (Kendra); great-nephews, Connor Wharton and Sawyer Quesenberry; great-nieces, Taylor Wharton and Ella Quesenberry; devoted sister-in-law, Joy Brennan; and devoted cousin, Cheryn Jones, Sandra Browning, and Daniel Joseph Brennan (Shelia).
She is preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Amy Lou Brennan; aunt, Sue Arnold; cousin, Paula Brennan; nephew, Jeffery Wharton; and brother, Daniel Wharton.
The memorial service will be Monday, May 12th, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with Chaplain Laurel Ward officiating.
