Augusto Simon Diaz, age 42, of Russellville, passed away on Friday, July 04, 2025, at Huntsville Hospital.
Augusto was a husband, father, and a friend to many. He loved to make others laugh, looked on the bright side of any situation, and loved to dance. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. Augusto never met a stranger and was a true friend to all. He loved to water his flowers and enjoy the simple things in life. He loved with his whole heart and was someone you could always count on. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Manuela Salvador; children, Darcy Beatriz Simon Diaz, Dayanna Nayeli Salvador Diaz, Stephanie Fuentes Salvador, Erica Fuentes Salvador, Eduardo Salvador Tomas; mother, Rosenda Reynoso Perez; brothers, Belizario Simon Reynoso, Jose Luis Simon Reynoso, Marvin Esteban Simon Reynoso, Santos Maurilio Simon Reynoso, Rolfi Oliver Simon Reynoso; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clemento Simon Perez, sister, Amalia Simon Reynoso, and brother, Demetrio Simon Reynoso.
The visitation and service will be 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The burial will be in his home country, Guatemala.
