Audrey Carolyn WeedAudrey Carolyn Davison Weed, 82 of Empire, passed away Saturday January 11, 2025 at her residence.
She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Sumiton in the early years, helping to establish the church.
She loved singing in the church choir. She had an infectious spirit as shown through her eyes and smile.
She had a unique and joyous outlook on life that will be missed by all that knew her. She spent many years as substitute teacher and caregiver, while devoting her life to helping others.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Robert “Buddy” Master and her widowed husband of 20 years, Jay Weed; her daughter, Rachel Miller; granddaughter, Michelle Lamb; parents, H.H. and Iris Davison and siblings, Horace and Melvin Davison, Mildred Blake, Frances Tate, Peggie Ruth Tate and Joan Snell Squire.
Survivors include her daughter, Debra Masters Russell (Bobby); son-in-law, Jackie Miller; grandchildren, Paul Russell (Crystal) and Whitney Mauldin (Dalton); great grandchildren, Jade, Nyla, Levi, Keira, Jax and Ryder; sister, Geraldine Davison Thompkins; special niece, Carolyn Tate Hamilton; several other relatives and many friends.
