Nancy Sisson Tolley The heart of the home, the love of Putt’s life and the best mother to Sam and Josh; sums up the life of Nancy Sisson Tolley who died peacefully Saturday evening, January 11th 2025 at her home.

Nancy was one of three children born to Vaughn and Bessie Mae Davis Sisson on Saturday the 7th of June 1947 in Lexington. She married Samuel Utley Tolley, always known as “Putt”, on February 23rd of 1967 and enjoyed fifty-seven years of marriage. Nancy was one of the first hires made by Century Electric here in Lexington and gave thirty plus years of her service. After her retirement and to occupy her time, she joined Putt in the operation of Tolley Automotive as their secretary and bookkeeper, remaining there till present day. Nancy had an incredible work ethic and passed it along to her sons. Putt had a love of motorcycles and was riding when he first met Nancy. Soon after, Nancy had the same love of riding and motorcycles. She was a devoted mother and enjoyed camping and boating with her family.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Samuel Utley “Putt” Tolley, and her two sons: Samuel Tolley III and Josh Tolley (April). She was affectionally known as Nana by her grandsons, Samuel Matthew Tolley and Cannon Tolley. Besides her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her brothers, James Vaughn and John Wayne Sisson.

Funeral services for Nancy are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 14th in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Crowe officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove “Sweetbud” cemetery near Lexington.
