ATHENS– On Saturday, September 9 Ant-Man and Athens Mayor Ronnie Marks along with the community supported Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in September and the fight against childhood cancer by attending Superhero Day at Big Spring Memorial Park.
Everyone had a GREAT time and in doing so….gave a big one-two punch to help in defeating childhood cancer!
There were various activities including an obstacle course by Athens Fire and Rescue, first responder and farm vehicles, give-aways, a parade, Lego competition, music, food and more. Eli’s Block Party Childhood Cancer Foundation hosted the event.
