Dacoda Ray Chasteen
DECATUR-Decatur Police have been following up on leads in a theft case at Wal-Mart located at 2800 Spring Avenue and have made an arrest in the case. Here is what they have to say:
“SYNOPSIS OF OFFENSE & ARREST:
On March 9th 2014, at approximately 11:15 AM, employees of Wal-Mart, 2800 Spring Ave reported the theft of multiple electronic items. When officers arrived, employees explained that a white male entered the store, took the electronics and walked out without paying.
As a result of the investigation, Dacoda Ray Chasteen was developed as a suspect in the theft.
On March 11th 2014, Chasteen was located and placed under arrest for second degree theft. He was then processed into the Decatur City Jail and will be transferred to the Morgan County Jail where he will be held in lieu of a $2,500 bond.”
