CULLMAN COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a two-vehicle accident in Cullman County has taken the life of one person:
“A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 5:20 p.m. Thursday, April 23, has claimed the life of a Arley man.
Arlen L. Langley, 86, was critically injured when the 2010 Chrysler 300 Touring that he was driving stuck the 2025 Nissan Sentra driven by Christina R. Campbell, 37, of Cullman. After the initial impact, the Nissan left the roadway, struck a cable box and a fence. The Chrysler also left the roadway, struck a stop sign, overturned and then struck a guy wire. Langley was airlifted to Huntsville Hospital for treatment.
On Saturday, April 25, Langley succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased while at the hospital.
The crash occurred on U.S. 278 near Cullman County 420, approximately five miles west of Cullman, in Cullman County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
