Arlene Christianson Carr, 79, passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at the Iuka Hospital. She was born in Lakeland, FL and was a Certified Nursing Assistant working in nursing homes. She was a member of Liberty Church of Christ, Dennis, MS.
Services will be Friday, December 17, 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with David Conley officiating. Burial will be in Lindsey Cemetery, Dennis, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her husband – Butch Carr; a daughter – Rebecca Lawson; a son – Raymond Jones; two grandchildren – Melanie Lawson and Ricky Lawson and one sister– Shirley Price.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nelson and Lucille Christianson.
Pallbearers will be Raymon Carr, Douglas Deaton, Tommy Moody and Jerry Moore. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Kemp and Ron Deaton.
Visitation will be Friday, December 17, 1-2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS.
